Dr Aleta Pupovac
Dr Aleta Pupovacis an early career researcher at the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) and Swinburne University of Technology, Australia. She obtained her PhD in Cell Biology and Immunology at the University of Wollongong, Australia, in 2015. Her PhD research established novel signalling pathways of the purinergic receptor P2X7 in B cells. Subsequently, she completed 1.5 years of postdoctoral research at the Biomedicine Discovery Institute, Monash University, Australia, where she studied B cell memory in acute and chronic viral disease. Her current research interests include infection and inflammatory pathways in 3D cell culture systems including the skin, tissue engineering, biomaterials and biosensing.
